Flower Power

I know this blog has become a bit of a flower-fest recently. I am a teeny bit obsessed I suppose... :p
Especially so in winter because they remind me that warmer days are going to come, no matter how much it feels like they never will...

I did a little painting today. Was hoping some of you would give me an opinion? I don't really paint much. I am too impatient. And I have this scruffy, can't be bothered with the details kinda style that doesn't really lend itself to very much. Anyway, let me know if you like it :)

Wiz Wants

I have decided to start an additional blog to document some of the things I like to look at for inspiration. After Matt's visit, I realised that we really don't share our resources like we used to - Maybe because we don't need to :p

At school it was easier, we were usually working on the same projects and had to do some research!

Sunshine and arty things

Beautiful day to be out in the garden! My avocado is doing really well after months of being lovingly coaxed into life :) Just need a greenhouse now for it to live in...

Started a painting for my mum too - Bit gothic. Much more so than I intended. But then that's bound to happen when she wants a cross/crucifix, with the colours black, brown, red and white... Not a lot I could do about it really, right?! Feel like this is most artistic I've been in about a year! so it's a good job I left uni and didn't decide to become an artist, because I'd definately be a starving one!

Pony came to visit last weekend from Luga, which was ace!! We went all along the coast and the weather held out for us too. She made me think about making jewellery again, so I've been out to get some bits and pieces. I used to make loads, all kindsa different stuff... Watch this space!!
I also found my toolbox and some clay left in the garage since I left uni. Had a go at making a little pot. As you can see, I'm a bit rusty. Sometimes I wish I'd just gritted my teeth and finished it. I think it's actually something I could be really good at... Oh well. I might look into doing an evening class or something. There must be one around here somewhere.....

Haven't done much the past couple of days, been having the most excruciating migraines...

Managed to get a bit of finger painting in (always good for a migraine right!!? had to be done though I'm afraid, tres importante. With brain shouting pound pound pound) before sleeping long and hard

Still not feeling better yet...

Mr and Mrs Gingerbread are cheering me up, bought them yesterday. All they need now is a house!

My head actually feels like it's on fire now. Migraine + computer = not good. Think I ought to hit the hay
